- Arbitrary waveform generator – this term encapsulates the wide-ranging capabilities and applications that can be provided by user-definable I/Q baseband signals and a vector signalgenerator. Rohde & Schwarz has developed the R&S WinIQSIM™ software package specifically with this in mind. The first questions a user might ask are: “How do the R&S SFU and R&S WinIQSIM™ interwork and what features are available? This Application Note has been produced to answer these questions.
